FINAL NOTICE OF COLLECTION

Sir:

Last July 30, 2018, the undersigned dutifully informed you that despite the Court of Tax Appeals
Notice of Decision dated August 22, 2014, Mr. Wilson Chan, Administrator of Leyte Park
Hotel, Inc. (LPHI), failed to pay the total amount of Twenty Two Million Eight Hundred
Twenty Six Thousand Nine Hundred Two Pesos and 20/100 (₱22,826,902.20), representing
the Real Property Tax Due for the years 1995 to 2004 and that the Real Property Taxes for CY
2005-2018 is likewise unpaid.

We sent you a collection letter dated July 30, 2018 together with the Real Property Tax
assessment for LPHI CY 2005-2018, which remained delinquent. As stated in the same dated
letter, this Office sent an amended Real Property Tax Assessment/Notice of Delinquency on
August 3, 2018 via Registered Mail.

In your letter dated October 3, 2018, you reiterated your position that we wait until a final
resolution on the matter is issued by the Supreme Court. Finally, last May 19, 2022 a Notice of
Judgement was rendered by the Supreme Court wherein the Petition for Certiorari dated
September 26, 2014, seeking the reversal of the Decision dated August 22, 2014 in CTA EB
901 rendered by the Court of Tax Appeals en banc was DENIED and that, the Decision dated
August 22, 2014 of the Court of Tax Appeals en banc in TA EB No. 091 was AFFIRMED by
the Supreme Court.

This being said, please settle within twenty (20) days from receipt hereof of the tax liability
imposed on Leyte Park Hotel, Inc. in the total amount of Eighty Six Million Six Hundred
Eighty One Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Three Pesos and 72/100 (₱86,681,843.72).
