RATIONALE: In support of the Department's goal in advancing the research culture,


the SGOD, through the Planning and Research Section, will conduct a
RESEARCH PAPER PRE-PRESENTATION on May 23, 2023 in
preparation for the Regional Paper Review on the last week of May
2023.

OBJECTIVES: The activity aims to:


 Provide technical assistance to research proponents
 Enhance the research skills of the participants by providing them
with practical knowledge on various research methodologies, data
collection techniques, and data analysis methods.
 Develop the attitude towards research

1. In support of the Department's goal in advancing the research culture, the SGOD,
through the Planning and Research Section, will conduct a RESEARCH PAPER
PRE-PRESENTATION CLINIQUING and MENTORING for the 2023 Regional
Paper Review Qualifier on May 23, 2023 in preparation for the Regional Paper
Review on the last week of May 2023. The activity aims to provide technical
assistance to research proponents to enhance the research skills of the participants by
providing them with practical knowledge on various research methodologies, data
collection techniques, and data analysis methods.

2. Participants are required to bring laptop and extension wires to the venue.

3. Enclosed is the list of proponents and other participants who will participate in the
aforementioned research cliniquing and mentoring.

4. Meals, venue, accommodation and material expenses are charged against HRTD


Funds. Participant’s travel expenses and other incidental expenses shall be charged
against local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5. This memorandum shall serve as their travel Authority.
