PROJECTS TO BE DONE : MAKING BATIK JUMPUT FROM A HANKGREEN

1. PRELIMINARY.

Indonesia has various kinds of batik which are spread in various regions. Where each
region has a motif or characteristic and a different meaning In addition, there are various types of
techniques in making batik, such as canting writing techniques, printing techniques, colet
techniques, and tiedyeing or jumputan techniques.

Jumputan batik can be interpreted as a type of batik made by decorating it by tyingtie. The
way the jumputan batik works is totietightly how many parts of the fabric are then dipped in
clothes dye.

- So that we can recognize and learn to make jumputan batik.

5. How to make jumputan batik

A. Steps

Diazosaltadd cold water and stir until dissolved

Prepare a big bucket for dyeing cloth

 B. Coloring stage
 Prepare the first bucket and enter the naptol solution and TRO / Kostik soda then pour hot
water
 Prepare a second bucket and adddiazosalt and pourcold water
 Wet the cloth to be colored then put it in the first bucket after that put it in these
condbucket
 After that, rinse in clean water and dry in the shade
