User Research Questions For Dashboard Design

The document provides 32 questions to ask users when designing a dashboard to understand their goals, context of use, timeliness and interactivity requirements, and familiarity with data, metrics, and terminology. The questions are grouped into four main categories: 1) goals, 2) context of use, 3) timeliness and interactivity requirements, and 4) familiarity with data, metrics, and terminologies. The goals questions aim to understand the user's top priorities, how metrics help achieve goals, and how success is defined and measured. The context of use questions explore when and how often users review data, what triggers analysis, and how users make decisions based on the data. The timeliness questions focus on what information is needed daily
