Artist's statement

Every life is sometimes endowed with extraordinary and chaotic events and does not necessarily make
sense. The characters in my paintings are in just such a situation. Their lives are going wild in an
absurd world devoid of laws, but not devoid of good. 


Combining the music of the sixties and seventies, acid westerns, tattoos, folk and primitive art, the
traditions of different countries with my own rich life experience gives birth to images that create a
world for my characters. This world I transfer to various objects, from paintings created on wooden
boards, to surfboards, chairs and other utilitarian things. In doing so, I bring my characters into the life
around us and invite us to interact with them on a domestic level. I guess that's my main goal: to bring
a little laughter, irony, casualness, and ridiculous mysticism into everyone's life.
