Teenage romantic relationship are a normal and Natural part of life.
Teenagers all over the world learn to adapt to new relationships, whether they be

difficult Feelings that they have not experienced before One of the major differences in
teenage relationship is that they are just beginning to explore physical intimacy and
sexual relationships. For teenagers, can bring a whole range of emotion. It can both a
happy and sad time, filled with nerves and anxiousness, but with the right Person this
can be one of the most special moments of your life. Romantic relationships are a major
developmental milestone. They come with all other changes that occur during
adolescene and they can bring ups and downs for a teenager. The feelings that they
experience during this period can help them develop the capacity to share, Come and
develop intimate relationships in the future. Teenage romance and relationships are an
important part of overall development. Teenage relationships often Involve exploring
physical Intimacy, sexual feelings and sexual attraction. Open non-judgmental family
discussions about relationships can encourage preteens and teenagers to share things
with all.
According to Lucas and Corpuz (2007)." quality personal relationships that
provide stability, trust, and caring such as romantic relationships can increase learners
sense of belonging, self respect and self-acceptance, and provide a positive climate for
learning" (p. 16) and thus increase academic Performance. According to the theory of
incentive approach of motivation the desirable properties of external stimuli - whether
grades, money, affection, food, or sex- account for person's motivation.
Moreover, Theorists suggested that romantic relationships has a great role in
the academic performance of adolescents Vygotsky's theory states that social
interaction plays a very important role in the cognitive development of an individual and
could not be understood without looking into the Social and cultural context.
Furthermore, Vygotsky's ideas about" cognitive development " have become major
influences in Psychology and education Today" (Lucas and Corpuz, 2007) Theorists
Suggested that romantic relationships has a great role in the academic Performance of
adolescents parent peers, and partners on the other hand, cooperate, collaborate and
on rich the learning experience in this way adolescent who are more knowledgeable can
help in the cognitive development of their partner.
In another way. Romantic Relationship gives more negative effects on the
academic performance of adolescents. Some study shown that Teens nowadays
consider romantic relationship as the number one source of stress (Manning et al. 2009)
It results from the break ups or conflicts with partner. Even those who give more
importance on academics, spending time with one's partner may also serve as a
distraction Inyors (2010) also said that.
