Well It is....
Bruno Mars
Introduction:
The person I choose for this project is Peter Gene Hernandez. Or better known
by his stage name of Bruno Mars. Bruno is a talented musician and I admire
him for that. He is; a vocalist, drummer, guitarist, pianist, bass player, and
plays the harmonica. He sounds amazing without autotune and is different than
"normal" music now a day. He started his career in 2006, at age 20. He is
currently 27, and was born October 8, 1985. He was also born in Honolulu
Hawaii. Not only am I into his music, but I'm into his physical appearance. He
is quite attractive, some might even say I fancy him. There isn't a single flaw to
Peter, unless you count his height being 5'5". But hey, he is still taller than me
;)
Birth and Childhood:
Peter, as I said earlier, was born October 8, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His father's
name is Pete Hernandez and his mother is Bernadette San Pedro Bayot and is better
known as Bernie. Bernie immigrated to Hawaii from the Philippines as a child, and has
some Spanish descent. Pete is half Puerto Rican and half Jewish. Peter's parents meet
while performing, with his mom being a hula dancer and his dad being a percussion
player. At the age of two , Peter got the nickname of Bruno for the resemblance to the
professional wrestler Bruno Sammartino. And he got the last name Mars because as a
child girls always said he was out of this world. In an interview he said "They never
told me what planet I was from, so I always assumed that I was from mars."
Birth and Childhood:

As a child, Peter did impersonations if people such as Michael Jackson and
Elvis. Also, at the age of four Bruno Mars was "Little Elvis" in Honeymoon in
Vegas. His family's band was the Love Notes. And Bruno is one of six
children: Eric, Presley, Tiara, Jamie, and Tahiti. The four sisters are in a group
called the Lylas, and all of his siblings range in age from early 20's to mid 30's.
Mars, in 2003, and at the age of 17 graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High
School and shortly after he move to L.A. to pursue his musical career.
Adulthood
Peter started his career straight after graduating from high school and traveled to LA
to pursue his dream. Since he went straight out of high school he didn't have any other
jobs, so he can truthfully that singing and performing was the only job he has ever had.
But, another thing most fans do not agree with is Bruno smoking. They say it is bad for
his voice and will ruin in career, though I know smoking is bad and I will never take to it
myself, he is 27 and he can do what he wants. It is his decision and cigarettes are not
illegal. Peter Hernandez also is currently not married and has no kids. But, he has been
in a relationship for the past 1.4 years with Jessica Caban. Dang, wish I was her.
"Locked" Out of Heaven
Though, Mars hasn't done any public services to help the community in anyway, but he
has done community service to clear him of his charges for Cocaine Arrest in 2010. More
about this story is during September of 2010, Peter was arrested for the possession of
cocaine while in Vegas. He could have faced up to four years in jail and a fine of $50,000.
But Peter managed to avoid jail by completing community service, an eight hour
counseling program, and paid a $2,000 fine. And during this time they also said that of he
stayed out of trouble for 12 months the charge will be wiped from his record, which it later
does. And Bruno also continues to stay out of trouble to this day. So, he has been locked
out of something and it wasn't heaven.
Music
Bruno Mars has written and produced three albums; Doo-Wops & Hooligans,Earth to
Mars, and and Unorthodox Jukebox. But, those aren’t the only songs he has written; he
has made many songs for other musical artist and featured in many songs. Also, in his
newest album Unorthodox Jukebox he uses little to no auto tune, what a pleasure to see
live. Back tracking to all of his songs he has written about 100 songs of all genres and
different point of views. With his music he writes for other peoples’ point of view, and
when he sells his songs he sings it so the artist will know what it should sound like and
then the songs get leaked onto YouTube. That’s how he has so many songs with so little
albums. Bruno Mars, or Peter Gene Hernandez, is a talented artist and is just like
everyone else. And I mean how can you hate Bruno!
Reason For Fame
Bruno Mars is known for being a talented singer and songwriter. He has written songs for
many artists and has three albums currently out, and his newest one was released in
early December of 2012. Mars may not seem like it, considering he has been in jail, but in
2011 TIME magazine named him as one of the 100 most influential people on the planet.
The sales of the album worldwide are over 2.6 million copies, and his bought singles
exceed the impressive figure of 12.5 million. I learned about Bruno Mars from his first
album Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which was released in 2010. Songs like “Grenade”, “the
Lazy Song”, and “Just the Way You Are” are some of his more popular songs and the first
songs of his I heard. But then later when I became slightly more obsessed with him I
learned that he has more song than just those three including; “Count on Me” and
“Runaway Baby”. But before his first album he did feature in songs such as “Nothing on
You” written and featured by Bruno Mars and sung by B.O.B..
Hobbies
Bruno’s hobbies are also soccer, tennis, partying, singing, dancing, and playing
instruments.
Bruno Mars to me is a huge influence. He taught me to edit pictures so I can stand next
to him, which we all know will never happen. Also, I became a world class stalker, so now
I stalk him all around the world. Not to mention I now have something to do in my free
time when I should be doing my homework. And taught me that you can never have too
much Bruno Mars on your computer.
