Dear Governor Jubahib,

Greetings of peace! Since 2014, Mindanao-Blue Knights Track League


(MBKTL) is the only independently organized Track and Field (Athletics)
event in the Philippines which is an initiative of Ateneo de Davao University-
Office of the Athletics, Ateneo de Davao Track and Field Team, University of
Southeastern Philippines (USeP) University Sports Office, and the Davao City
Track and Field Association (DCTAFA). Through the hard work of our
community, we were able to host Track and Field events that reach nearly 3
regions of Mindanao with an average attendance of 80-150 athletes and 15-20
teams/clubs per month. The events are open to all athletes both from public
and private schools, and local athletes. This year we are in partnership with 5

Throws for All, we plan to stage the first ever Mindanao Throwing +

Dynamic New Athletics Festival which will bring more grassroots events
closer to promising athletes.

As we aspire to provide more events and meaningful experience for our


athletes, it is our great desire to form stronger partnership for the Track and
Field Community of Mindanao and beyond. In line with this, we would like
to request from your dear office if we can organize the events at the Davao
Del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex on 24-26-November-2023. We hope
we can you can support us on the following:

 Complimentary use of Track and Field Stadium including its


equipment and implements.

 Reservations at the Davao Regional Sports Academy as a billeting


center for athletes, officials, and staff.

 Logistics, Security, emergency medical service.

 Endorsement and support for the participation of all local, public, and
private student athletes.

On our part, the organizers, we will provide the following:

 Technical Organization and Management of the Games

 Organizing of an Athletes and Coaches Forum and Throwing Clinic

 Donation of shoes and throwing implements from 5 Throws for All.
