KIDECO mine is located in Paser Regency, southern-
most part of East Kalimantan, at an altitude
ranging from 0 - 1000 m above sea level, and with
boundaries as follows:
North: borders West Kutai Regency.
East: borders the North Penajam Paser
Regency and the Makassar Strait.
South: borders Kota Baru Regency, South
Kalimantan Province.
West: borders Tabalong Regency, South
Kalimantan Province.

SOLAR PANELS
The solar power plant (solar
panel) has a capacity of
409 kilowatt peak (KWP).
This plant was built in the
employee base camp in
Batukajang Village, Batu
Sopang District, Paser
Regency, East Kalimantan
and was able to reduce the
employee base camp diesel
consumption by up to 45%.
ELECTRIC BUS
KIDECO is one of the first
few companies in East
Kalimantan that use electric
buses in its operational
area. This bus is used as a
means of transportation for
employees.
LAND RECLAMATION
KIDECO focuses on restoring
forest functions, ensuring
that the entire ecosystem
recovered, both the flora
and the fauna. KIDECO
has a nursery for breeding
cover crops, such as silk
tree, before planting back
the native (endemic) plants,
reverting the environment
back to its original condition.
MANGROVE PLANTING
Over 11,000 mangrove
plants have been planted
in Pondong Village and
Harapan Baru Village, Kuaro
District, Paser Regency, East
Kalimantan.
WATERSHED
REHABILITATION
(WATERSHED AREAS)
KIDECO has also
rehabilitated over 10,000
hectares of watersheds
(DAS) areas in East
Kalimantan Province. The
rehabilitation location is
divided into 3 areas, namely
Kutai National Park, Kendilo
KPH (Forest Management
Unit), and Lati Petangis
Grand Forest Park (Tahura).

(PPM) program, KIDECO has successfully turning
Samurangau into a model village in adherence
to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There
