Shift schedules - Information notice for Candidates
1. Schedules
- Schedules are prepared for the entire calendar month and released at least one
week before the beginning of the month. Save exceptions (see below) and force
majeure, we do not change the schedules once released.
- By the 10th day of the preceding month, employees can submit their preferences and
time off requests for the next month
- Schedules are prepared in accordance with local employment laws. Our team tries to
accommodate personal preferences and observes the principle of strict fairness
amongst agents. As a result, on a monthly basis, agents will usually have 20-40% of
morning shifts and 0-50% of night shifts depending on the operational requirements.

employee prefers to work more days in a row provided it is admissible under local
employment laws.
- Scheduling team determines the agents who work on a Public holiday, time off in lieu
is provided where applicable and scheduled by the Scheduling team, while employee
preferences are also considered
3. Mandatory rest time
- Rest between shifts: We try our best to schedule similar shifts in a row to give agents
plenty of time to rest during their shifts. Sometimes, we are unable to do that (e.g.
operational requirements, individual preferences), we will comply with the minimum
legal requirements regarding the minimum daily rest time:
- Portugal: there has to be at least 24h between 2 different shifts (shifts with
more than 1h difference in start time)
