3) Science: Research and present a project on a famous scientist who shares similar
interests or abilities with you, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses.

Activity 1: My Personal Inventory
Teaching Strategy: Brainstorming
Materials: Paper, pencils
Significance: Students will reflect on their personal interests, abilities, skills, values,
strengths, and weaknesses and create an inventory.
Instructions:
1) Brainstorm your strengths in box 1, weaknesses in box 2, and your skills, interest,
talents, abilities and values in box 3.
2) Categorize them into separate sections on your paper.
3) Share your inventory with a partner and discuss similarities and differences.

Analysis:
Activity 1 - The personal inventory activity allowed students to reflect on and identify their
personal interests, abilities, skills, values, strengths, and weaknesses. It provided an
opportunity for self-awareness and understanding how these factors contribute to personal
development.
Abstraction:
In this lesson, students learned to enumerate their personal interests, abilities, skills, values,
strengths, and weaknesses as part of their development. By exploring these aspects of
themselves, they gained self-awareness and a deeper understanding of their personal
identity. They also discovered how their strengths can be utilized and their weaknesses can
be improved upon to further develop themselves. Through reflection and goal-setting,
students learned the importance of aligning their values with their goals to lead a purposeful

Task 1 - In groups, students will create a skit or role play where they showcase their
personal strengths and weaknesses in a real-life scenario. They will demonstrate how they

Task 2 - Individually, students will write a persuasive essay or create a multimedia
presentation where they apply their personal interests, abilities, skills, values, strengths, and
weaknesses to a future career choice. They will explain how their unique qualities make
them well-suited for that particular career.

2) Create a vision board that represents your future goals and aspirations. Include images,
words, and symbols that reflect your personal interests, abilities, skills, values, strengths,
and weaknesses. Write a reflection on how your vision board inspires and motivates you.
Activity 2: Strengths and Weaknesses Collage
Teaching Strategy: Artistic Expression
Materials: Magazines, scissors, glue, poster boards
Significance: Students will create a visual representation of their strengths and weaknesses
through a collage.
Instructions:
1) Cut out images, words, or phrases from magazines that represent your strengths and
weaknesses.
2) Arrange and glue them on a poster board to create a collage.
3) Present your collage to the class, explaining the significance of each item chosen.

1) Complete the reflection sheet by identifying your core values and writing down at least
three goals related to your personal development.
2) Share your reflections and goals with a partner and discuss how they align with each
other.
3) Have a class discussion about the importance of values and goals in personal
development.
