have questions or concerns about your toddler’s development or
behavior, it is important to take action early.

Developmental screenings can help identify areas of your child’s


development that might need some extra help. Talk to a doctor,
your child’s teacher or your local early learning coalition about your
concerns and request to have your child screened. If the screening
indicates any areas that need extra help, your child may qualify for
early intervention services. Your child’s doctor or your early learning
coalition can help connect you to those services.
