the founders and first Justicars of the Camarilla.

1496 The Treaty of Tyre. The Assamites are forced to bow before the might of the Camarilla and desist from
drinking the blood of other Kindred. A Tremere blood curse makes vitae poisonous to Assamites.
Izhim abd’Azrael (warrior-caste Assamite) leads a small band called the Unconquered to the ruins of
Chorazin. The Tremere blood curse is broken on these Assamites, but every sorcerer and vizier present
perishes. The remaining Unconquered Assamies eventually join the Sabbat.

● Ur-Shulgi destroys Old Man Jamal for refusing to renounce Allah, and takes Alamut’s Black Throne. He
does not refer to himself as Eldest, however, reserving that title for Haqim.
● July: The Week of Nightmares. The Ravnos Antediluvian battles three elder Cathayans in Bangladesh,
and meets Final Death. Ravnos around the globe suffer from a cannibalistic frenzy for three nights.
● Baba Yaga meets Final Death in Russia.
2000 ● Schismatic Assamites join the Camarilla, led by al-Ashrad (Amr and Eldest to the Schismatics). Tegyrius,
the vizier of Alamut, opposes ur-Shulgi’s usurpation of the Black Throne and follows al-Ashrad into exile.
● The Daughters of Cacophony force Helena into torpor.
2001 October: Melinda Galbraith meets Final Death under mysterious circumstances during the Palla Grande in
Mexico City. She is replaced by a Tzimisce imposter, Zachary Sikorsky, who discovers the Regent’s corpse
and does not want to be accused of destroying her.
2002 The Grimaldi revenant family shifts its loyalty from the Sabbat to the Ventrue.
