Cute trendy slap bracelets with removable and interchangeable animal appliques.

Durable Coral mini, 100 % cotton, 20/50m/55yds.

326 Ivory: 1 ball
386 Rosa: 1 ball
340 Taupe: 1 ball

326 Ivory: 1 ball
2136 Bright Mint: 1 ball
2146 Yellow Green: 1 ball

Slap bracelet itself: 21 x 2,5 cm/8,25 x 1 in.
Butterfly and dinosaur: 8 cm/3,15 in long.

Pattern
Always work 1 stitch in a stitch, unless otherwise indicated.

Wrapper piece for the bracelet:


Using Coral mini 326 Ivory:
Round 1: 12ch, slst in first ch to make a round, 1sc in each ch around. (12sc)
Rounds 2 – 12: 12sc.
Cut yarn and fasten off.
Weave in the ends.
Attach the lower part of the press button in the centre of your work and slide the wrapper piece around the slap
bracelet.

Dinosaur
Head:
Using Coral mini 2146 Yellow Green:
Row 1: 11ch, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 9sc, turn. (10sc)
Row 2: 1ch, sc2tog, 7sc, 2sc in 1sc, turn. (10sc)
Row 3: 1ch, 10sc, turn. (10sc)
Rows 3 – 9: Repeat Rows 2 and 3.
Row 10: 3ch, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 11sc, turn. (12sc)
Row 11: 1ch, 11sc, 2sc in last sc, turn. (13sc)
Row 12: 1ch, 2sc in first sc, 12sc, turn. (14sc)
Row 13: 1ch, 13sc, 2sc in last sc, turn. (15sc)
Row 14: 1ch, 15sc, turn. (15sc)
Row 15: 1ch, 10sc, turn, leaving rest of row unworked. (10sc)
Row 16: 6ch, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 14sc, turn. (15sc)
Row 17: 1ch, 15sc, turn. (15sc)
Row 18: 1ch, 13sc, sc2tog, turn. (14sc)
Place safety eye.
Using Coral mini 326 Ivory, embroider a little stripe along the eye.
Row 19: 1ch, sc2tog, 10sc, sc2tog, turn. (12sc)
Row 20: 1ch, sc2tog, 8sc, sc2tog, turn. (10sc)
Row 21: 1ch, sc2tog, 6sc, sc2tog, turn. (8sc)
Row 22: 1ch, sc2tog x 4. (4sc)
Cut yarn and fasten off.

Make an identical second head, but do not fasten off.


Attach the upper part of a press button on the back of this second part.
Place both parts tog, RS on the inside and close with dc sts. (work 2dc in each corner).
Stuff the dinosaur while closing.
Cut yarn and fasten off.
Weave in the ends.

Spots (3 x):
Using Coral mini Bright Mint:
Round 1: Form a magic ring, 6sc in the ring, close round with slst in first sc.
Cut yarn leaving a long tail and fasten off.

Make 3 identical spots.


Using the long tail, sew them on the front part of the dinosaur.

Teeth:
Using Coral mini 326 Ivory:
Working on both sides of the beak: rejoin yarn with slst and work in each st of the beak: (1slst, 1ch, 1slst).
Cut yarn and fasten off.
Weave in the ends.

Butterfly
Head and body:
Using Coral mini 340 Taupe:
Row 1: 2ch, 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, turn. (2sc)
Rows 2 – 3: 1ch, 2sc, turn. (2sc)
Row 4: 1ch, 2sc in both sc, turn. (4sc)
Rows 5 – 8: 1ch, 4sc, turn. (4sc)

Rows 10 – 12: 1ch, 6sc, turn. (6sc)
Row 13: 1ch, sc2tog, 2sc, sc2tog, turn. (4sc)
Row 14: 1ch, sc2tog x 2, turn. (2sc)
Row 15: 1ch, 2sc in both sc, turn. (4sc)
Row 16: 1ch, 2sc in first sc, 2sc, 2sc in last sc, turn. (6sc)
Rows 17 – 19: 1ch, 6sc, turn. (6sc)
Row 20: 1ch, sc2tog, 2sc, sc2tog, turn. (4sc)
Row 21: 1ch, sc2tog x 2.
Cut yarn and fasten off.
Place 2 safety eyes.
Using Coral mini 326 Ivory, embroider a stripe along the eye.

Make an identical second part, but do not fasten off.

Small wings (2 x):


Using Coral mini 386 Rosa:
Row 1: 4ch, 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc, 2sc in last sc, turn. (5sc)
Row 2: 1ch, 5sc, turn. (5sc)
Row 3: 1ch, 2sc in first sc, 3sc, 2sc in last sc, turn. (7sc)
Rows 4 – 6: 1ch, 7sc, turn. (7sc)
Row 7: 1ch, 5sc, sc2tog, turn. (5sc)
Row 8: 1ch, sc2tog, 4sc, turn. (4sc)
Cut yarn and fasten off.

Make a second identical part, but do not fasten off.


Place both parts tog, RS on the inside, and close with sc sts. (work 2sc in each corner).
Cut yarn leaving a long tail and fasten off.

Make a second identical wing (with 2 parts) and sew both wings along the side of the body.
Weave in the ends.

Large wings (2 x):


Using Coral mini 386 Rosa:

Make a second identical part, but do not fasten off.
Place both parts tog, RS on the inside, and close with sc sts. (work 2sc in each corner).
Cut yarn leaving a long tail.

Make second identical large wing (with 2 parts) and sew both wings on the back of the butterfly.

Feeler (2 x):
Using Coral mini 340 Taupe:
Rejoin yarn with slst on upper part of head, 5ch, cut yarn and fasten off.
Weave in the ends.

Make a second identical feeler.
