COMMON FINDING & FEEDBACK

FOR CB PRESS & DIGESTER
Screw Press
Oil leaking from split spur gearbox

 Wear and tear wearing plate (1) allow

substantial amount of steam/sludge
penetration and damage oil seal (2) cause
steam and sludge leak into (Arrow A)
compartment between spur gear and
intermediate body.

 Steam/sludge leaking from intermediate

body slip through oil seal (3) at spur
gearbox and increase lubricant oil level in
spur gearbox due to condensation.

 Increasing level of oil inside spur

gearbox will leak out and slithering via
shaft (Arrow B) and drip into oil recovery
hole lips at intermediate body and
contaminate CPO.
