ACTIVITY 1: I KNOW, I AM AWARE, I HAVE LEARNED

DIRECTIONS: Answer and complete the sentence. Come on. I know you can! I
am with you all throughout this journey and I have witnessed your dedication!
Let’s get started!

1. I am a rational animal because I think before I follow my instinct. I can

differentiate what is right and wrong. I have the ability to think critically
before making a decision. I am capable of making rational decisions before
allowing myself to do something.

2. I am a person because I have feelings and emotions. I'm not flawless, but
unique in my way. Despite my limitations, I am determined to achieve my
dreams and goals. I am a person because I have imperfections that make me
perfect.

3. I am a human being because I am a living, breathing organism with body

and soul. I can move, touch, see, hear, taste, and smell with my body. I have
the ability to think, communicate, and express myself. I have a life and the
freedom to do whatever I want in this world.

4. I am a human person with an embodied spirit because I am not separate

from my soul in the same way that my soul is not independent of my body. I
am fully aware of who I am and what I am capable of doing. I am one with
myself and with my spirit. I keep my body healthy and my soul at peace.
5. My soul and my body are inseparable because without my body, my soul will
vanish, and without my soul, my body will die. We now have bodies, but in
the afterlife, we will only have our souls. It is the one that will be left after we
die. If we separate our bodies from our souls, we will lack meaning in our
lives and feel empty.

ACTIVITY 2: MYSELF, MY FAMILY, MY COMMUNITY!

DIRECTIONS: Answer the real-life questions provided to you. No wrong
answers, just give your best!

1. As a student, how can you conquer the challenges posed by this pandemic?
As a student, I've faced many challenges due to the pandemic.
Before face-to-face classes, I experienced doing online classes, which were
hard for me as a student. I overcome this challenge by constantly
listening and taking notes during and after class so that I am not left
behind with our lesson and can better understand it. I always do self-
study and manage my time so that I am not late with all of my activities
and performance tasks. I always keep track of everything I do with my
studies because it's hard to communicate with my teachers online and ask
for help. I always maintain a positive attitude and believe in my ability to
survive this pandemic.

2. How did the present crisis make you realize the reality of human limitations,
uncertainties, and possibilities?
The present crisis made me realize many things about the reality of
human limitations, uncertainties, and possibilities. We never imagined
this kind of pandemic would strike our world. We cannot control these
extreme events that can happen to us. We panicked and were uncertain
about what to do next, especially since some people had stopped studying
and working. We realized that we are only humans and are incapable of
predicting such an unexpected change. I realized that during a lockdown,
we must limit our actions and cannot do everything as normally as we
would like. Everyone has limitations that we are unable to deal with in
these situations. People lost their jobs as our economy dropped. Every
day, people die, and we never know who will be the next victim. Even
those who had made plans for their future died, proving how
unpredictable and unfair life can be. Many possibilities can happen that
made us uncertain and face reality.
