AREA: MATHEMATICS
GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Strengthen the mathematical skills of the students of the 24 de Mayo Educational Institution,
through the implementation of pedagogical strategies and methodologies.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

 Integrate mathematical skills


 Use active and cooperative methodologies
 Carry out research projects in the classroom
 Create permanent evaluation instruments
 Integrate information and communication technologies
 Enhance creativity
 Improve perception towards mathematics
 Prepare for lifelong and autonomous learning
 Promote collaborative work as a family

DIAGNOSES

COGNITIVE – SOCIAL – ATTITUDINAL DIAGNOSIS

The results of the diagnostic evaluation showed that 20% of the students evaluated have a superior performance, 30% in
high, 40% in basic and the remaining 10% in low, which is an indication that the groups Primary school presents
fundamental bases to begin a new process on this beautiful path of mathematics.

The students showed enthusiasm for the activities developed in the diagnosis, which were workshops, recreational
activities proposed in the first home learning guide where participation was active and significant.

COMPETENCES BY AREA OR SUBJECT

In the three competencies evaluated (PROBLEM SOLVING, COMMUNICATION AND REASONING) the students showed
good performance, however they will be reinforced more in the contents with difficulty and emphasis will be placed on the
analysis of tables for the random component through motivational strategies and shared by WhatsApp groups.

STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE

 Create work environments that generate love for the subject and that strengthen basic performance skills, especially problem
solving.
 Implementation of tasks that promote reasoning and problem solving.
 Designing simple math videos and tutorials for students to watch from home.
 Review of guides and recreational activities carried out in collaborative family work.
 Monitoring of the reinforcement process of prioritized topics and field diaries where the students' progress will be observed.
 Support on virtual platforms (use of WhatsApp groups, zoom classes, video calls, among others)
