and became one of the biggest rappers. He started using autotune
really early.
He dropped hes second studio album in 2005 called late
registration. It was recorded in only one year and many critics
(including us) agrees on that its better than collage dropout. The
theme of lyrics are still focused on pressure to get ful ll educational
expectation which can or can not be helpful in the future, but the
sound evolved and got more matured. We start to hear more beats
that sound completely different from the past ones

In 2007 Kanye dropped his third album called Graduation. A little
side story is that ha moved its premier close to 50cents album

On graduation there are some electronic music samples like on
song “stronger” sampling daft punk as well as REALLY beautiful
soul, jazz samples used really maturely with great sense, there are
more (almost in every single song) a vocal samples, usually sped
up. There is more usage of autotune and more features from
different artists. Me and Tytus agree that its the best album out of
this trilogy, and one of his best albums overal

vocals are more melodic, there is much more usage of autotune
and whole thing is sad, lonely and melancholic. He uses way more
electronic samples than jazz or soul, his vocals are often blurred,
and he experiments with the sound way more than before. The
in uence of 808’s can be heard clearly on Yeezus when this type of
his style evolves and forms in to something like beautiful chaos.
Although this is probably most meaningful album for any so far, I
think its the weakest of those four. Its still amazing and revolution

At the beginning of 2010 Kanye produces 2 songs for drakes
album. So far so goo
-kanye needed only 2 years to regain his self con dence
-in 2010 he came back with his fth album called My Beautiful Dark
Twisted Fantasy. This record had ones of the rst brag songs like
Power, but mainly consisted of beautiful samples (jazz and soul too,
he came back to them or sampling Irish iconic electronic music
producer Apex twins Avril 14th on song Blame Game), used gospel
bands to make more heart touching experience, perfectly used
features (like kid cudis one on gorgeous). This album wasn’t that
experimental but contained some autotune pitched vocals, his hard
808’s and created overall perfectly connecting to each other which
resulted in concept album and a half (his previous albums were
concept albums too with connection between the songs but on this
one its something different, its reelable on another level than just
music and topic) for me personally its one of the best if not the best
kanye album overall

-in 2011 he created a joint studio album with fellow rapper, mentor
and older brother -JAy-Z. Most of songs on that album were brag,
rapers exing their skills and wealth. That brought trend of bragging
in rap songs to culture and it stays to this day. The music videos
and even Kanyes beats screams EARLY second decade of 21
century and that’s not weird becouse that album took place in
creating pop culture back then. Beats are not that great and I feel
like they don’t have that special thing. Overall in my opinion this
album is missing soul, it doesn’t have much depth and I think its the
weakest kanye record overall.
