• Country's first leopard conservation center In Uttarakhand-
• Snow Leopard Conservation Center will be constructed near Lanka Bridge in
Bhairav Valley, the entrance of Gangotri National Park. This place is situated at
an altitude of ₹ 2800 feet. In this center we will be given training related to the
conservation and promotion of leopards.
• Uniform Civil Code Bill introduced in Uttarakhand State Assembly
• On 6 February 2024, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami introduced the
Uniform Civil Code Uttarakhand 2024 Bill in the Assembly.
• On 7 February 2024, the Uttarakhand State Assembly passed the Uniform Civil
Code Bill.
• On 11 March 2024, President Draupadi Murmu approved the Uniform Civil
Code Bill.
• The code has been drafted on the basis of the report of Justice Ranjana Desai
Committee.
• Laying the foundation stone of the world's largest Gurukulam in Uttarakhand.
• Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation stone of the
Gurukulam of Patanjali Yogpeeth on the occasion of the birth anniversary of

occasion of Shri Ram Mandir inauguration.
• The mythological temple of Mother Sita and Maharishi Valmiki are situated in Sitabani
Conservation Reserve. which is maintained by the Indian Archaeological Department.
• This forest is spread over an area of 5824.76 hectares, which is famous for tigers, elephants,
birds and butterflies.
• Prabalgarh Conservation Reserve is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. It was
declared a conservation reserve in December 2012.
• Himalayan Basket started in Uttarakhand.
• Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched Himalayan Basket in
Uttarakhand.
• Himalayan Basket was started by Sumit and Sneha Thapliyal in 2018. Under
Himalaya Basket,agriculture products like milk, turmeric, mint are purchased
and different products are made from them and supplied abroad.
• ManasKhand Corridor Yatra started in Uttarakhand.
• Uttarakhand Tourism Department in collaboration with Indian Railways is starting
Manaskhand corridor Yatra in the last week of April to visit the mythological temples
of ManasKhand area in Uttarakhand.

• Uttarakhand state government approved the new film policy.

• The Uttarakhand Cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has
approved the new film policy to increase the subsidy for the makers of local films in
the state. The Uttarakhand government has approved the new film policy for the
makers of Garhwali , Kumaoni and Jaunsari films in the state. The subsidy for films
has been increased eight times.
• The film policy in Uttarakhand was implemented in 2015.
• ISRO's nodal center made in Uttarakhand.
• Veer Madhav Singh Bhandari Women's Institute of Technology of Uttarakhand
has been made the nodal center of the state by ISRO for its START 2024 training
program.
• ISRO has named Dr. Ashish Bagwani, teacher of the Women's Institute of
Technology and Chairman of the Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering, as the coordinator for this work.
• ISRO will organize live START 2024 training program in the coming April and
May at the nodal center Women's Institute of Technology, Dehradun. The aim

• Every year on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, a mythological stone war is
organized in the famous Mata Varahi Devi Dham located in Champawat. In this,
two groups of people put threw flowers and fruits called bagwal ,which was
earlier played with stones.
• Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple of Uttarakhand got a place in the book presented
to 20 foreign guests who came to India at G-20.
• A book based on India was presented by the Government of India to all the
foreign guests who came to India for the G-20 Summit in Delhi.
• In this 55-page book, Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple of Dehradun has also been
given a place on page 40, along with the mysterious places of many temples of
India.

control major forest fires in the state.

• On 11 may 2023 Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Smart
School Smart Block Program to connect primary education with modern technology in
Champawat district of the state.
• All equipment to conduct smart classes are given from Hans Foundation.
• Chief Minister Antyodaya Free Gas Refill Scheme .
• Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the Chief Minister
Free Gas Refill Scheme in Pauri district.

• NITI Aayog released the third edition of the report named Export Readiness
Index 2022. In this index, the state of Uttarakhand has achieved a 9th position
in the country, while in the ranking of Export Readiness Index 2021,
Uttarakhand has been ranked 19th in the country.
