3dc cluster: Yo, place hook in st/sp to be worked, yo and pull up a loop, 3 loops on
hook, yo and pull through 2 loops, 2 loops on hook.
Repeat twice more in same st/sp, 4 loops on hook. Yo and pull through all 4 loops.
Beginning 3dc cluster: Ch 2, yo, insert hook in same st/sp, yo and pull up a loop, yo and
pull through 2 loops, 2 loops on hook.
Repeat in same st/sp, 3 loops on hook. Yo and pull through all 3 loops.

3tr cluster: Yo twice, place hook in st/sp to be worked, yo and pull up a loop, 4 loops on
hook, yo and pull through 2 loops twice, 2 loops on hook.
Repeat twice more in same st/sp, 4 loops on hook. Yo and pull through all 4 loops.
Beginning 3tr cluster: Chain 3.

To make a beginning popcorn, simply start with a standing dc or ch 3 as your 1st st.

Tr Popcorn: Make 5 tr in same st, remove hook from loop and insert from front to back
of 1st tr and then into dropped loop and pull through. Ch 1 to close. This closing chain is
not counted in any chains you are asked to make after the popcorn.
To make a beginning tr popcorn, simply start with a standing tr or ch 4 as your 1st st.

Hints:
 Where a sl-st join is indicated you will continue the next round with the same
colour.
 Where join and fasten off is indicated I recommend using an Invisible Join.
 Use stitch markers to ensure stitch placement and counts are correct.

  Use stitch markers to identify corner spaces or stitches.
 Keep a relaxed tension with all chains and ensure they are the same size as top
loops of normal stitches. This is to maintain the correct shape in your work.

Hint: take care to line up carefully for corners to be straight.

Place marker in stitch that lines up with ch-1 point space R35 [P1],
place 2nd marker 54th st to left, place 3rd marker 108th st to left, 4th marker 108th st to left,
5th marker 108th st to left. You will have 53 sts between 5th marker and 1st marker. [P2]

Hint: stitch counts are now given per side.

Hint: keep tension slightly more relaxed on all sc stitches to avoid over cupping.
