Arun Soni is an internationally acclaimed author and cybersecurity expert from Chandigarh (India). He has
authored an astounding 182 books covering a wide range of subjects, including IT, AI, and Cybersecurity. Most
of the books are for the K-12 segment and the general public. His books are widely read in India and abroad
by millions of students.
His latest book, "The Cybersecurity Self-Help Guide," has been published by the world's leading
publisher, Taylor & Francis Group, UK, and is now available worldwide. It was exhibited for two years
in a row at DEF CON, an event that takes place annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, US. He is working on his
second book, "Wireshark Essentials: Simplifying Network Security and Troubleshooting," for Taylor &
Francis, which is scheduled to be published in March 2025.
Since February 2024, he has been associated with India's topmost National Stock Exchange Academy
(NSE Academy) as a content writer, creating cybersecurity modules that will be marketed to
corporations worldwide.
He is a resource person for Collins India (a unit of Harper & Collins Publications), conducting
cybersecurity and computer science workshops across India.
His name appears in the Limca Book of Records for writing the most computer books at 37. He also
holds many other national and international records.
He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from the EC Council (US), a Digital Evidence Specialist (DES) from
the Asian School of Cyber Laws in Pune, and a Cybersecurity Consultant. He is a cybersecurity trainer
who works to spread awareness by conducting webinars/seminars and workshops in schools, colleges,
and corporations.
He is also a former Director of YMCA, Computer Center, Chandigarh (India) and a winner of the
'Distinguished Author Award' conferred by the Federation of Educational Publishers in India (FEPI).
For his contribution to computer education and Cybersecurity, he has been admired and covered by many
major news portals, magazines, and newspapers such as The Tribune, The Indian Express, Times of India,
