ESKWELA KICK-OFF EVENT ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT"
The Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off at Turod Integrated School was an impressive display of
community collaboration. Led by Mrs. Doreen T. Laciste, the school principal, and supported
by Turod teachers and barangay officials under the guidance of Barangay Captain Sifronio
Malillin, the event showcased the collective effort to prepare the school for the upcoming
academic year.
The kick-off event began with a warm welcome from Mr. Charles S. Leano, highlighting the
importance of the Brigada Eskwela initiative in fostering unity and creating a conducive
learning environment. He emphasized the role of the community in enhancing the school's
facilities and ensuring the students' well-being. Ma’am Doreen T. Laciste also emphasized
the importance parental involvement in fostering a well-rounded educational experience.
When parents actively participate in events like Brigada Eskwela, they demonstrate their
commitment to supporting their children's learning journey. By contributing their time, skills,
and resources, parents send a powerful message to their kids that education is a shared
responsibility.
Teachers and barangay officials worked hand in hand during the event, each taking on
specific tasks. The teachers dedicated their time to cleaning classrooms and organizing
educational materials. Meanwhile, the barangay officials focused on maintenance tasks such
as repairing the school perimeter fence, fixing broken windows, and ensuring proper
sanitation facilities, and pruning of trees.
Barangay Kagawad Nelia Cauilan’s, Parent-Teacher Association President, Mrs. Ruth M.
Manuel presence was vital in motivating everyone to contribute their best. They shared vision
for an empowered community that values education and actively participates in supporting
local schools. Their dedication to the event inspired other barangay officials to give their time
and effort.
The event also featured moments of camaraderie, as volunteers engaged in conversations and
shared their experiences while working together. The sense of unity and shared purpose was
palpable throughout the event.
As the kick-off event concluded, the transformed school premises stood as a testament to the
power of collaboration. Mrs. Laciste expressed her gratitude to all participants, highlighting
