What is Weather?
WEATHER- the state of the
atmosphere, to the degree that it
is hot or cold, wet or dry, calm or
stormy, clear or cloudy.
TYPES OF WEATHER
The types of weather are;
SUNNY- the
weather is
SUNNY if the
sun shines all (Students listen carefully)
day. The air is hot. Thin and
wispy high clouds are scattered
through the sky. The temperature

Here are safety precautions
during sunny day;
Avoid staying too under
the sun
Use umbrella or hat to
protect yourself from heat.

RAINY- Dark
clouds usually
give us rain.
When it rains
on most parts

Rain washes away dust in the air.
It is also good for the plants.

during rainy days;
Avoid walking in the rain.
Make sure your windows
are shut properly.
Keep umbrella and
raincoat handy.
Unplug electronic
appliances.
Prepare an emergency kits.
CLOUDY-On
cloudy days, the sky
is most there are
plenty of clouds in
the sky.
During cloudy day children
loves to play outdoors.
WINDY- when the
winds blow, the
weather is windy.
Here are safety
precautions during windy day; (Students listen carefully)
Stay indoor if the winds are
heavy.
Use a jacket.
Don’t play outside when
the wind is heavy.
STORMY- have
you experienced a
weather characterized
by strong winds and
heavy rains. This kind of weather
is called stormy.
Class, did you know that strong
winds and heavy rains could destroy
many things. Examples class, roofs of
some houses may be flown away, the
trees may topple down.
