Section 1 (for all modules)

How has your teaching changed since you started teaching? What are you current 3 main strengths as a teacher? What 3
areas would you like to develop during Delta? (about 250 words)
How has your teaching changed since you started teaching?
The biggest change is a shift of focus from me to the students. Apart from that, I have developed different ways to teach to suit
different student needs and levels. I pay more attention to things that happen outside the classroom which plays a big role in
students’ learning than just things in the classroom, which is something I should have been aware off when I started. Another
thing is the teaching part is not the only thing matters when it comes to effective teaching, building the rapport needed
between teacher and student should never be neglected. Checking progress and provide constructive feedback contributes
too.

What are you current 3 main strengths as a teacher?

My celta tutor referred to me as being able to establish a good rapport, maintaining a good lesson flow with smooth
transitions between stages and making good use of teaching materials and technology, which I agree are my main strengths.

What 3 areas would you like to develop during delta?

First of all, I want to enhance my classroom management skills in order to create a more productive and inclusive learning
environment. Secondly, I aim to improve my ability to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students through
differentiated instruction. Lastly, I want to expand my knowledge and skills in effectively integrating technology into the
classroom to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
