Prerequisite to get the AHA certificate:
Must to attend the whole three-days of course (arrange your leaves).
Pass the BLS & ACLS theory with at least 84% and practical exam marks with
100% marks, if you pass BLS exam then only can appear for ACLS
Course (so read AHA BLS/ACLS manual twice before attending course)
AHA BLS course covers-
High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
Demonstrate proficiency in providing BLS care, including prioritizingchest
compressions and integrating use of an AED
Recognize and manage respiratory arrest
Recognize and manage cardiac arrest until termination of resuscitation or
transfer of care, including post–cardiac arrest care
Important early use of an AED
Effective ventilations using a barrier device (pocket mask, bag-mask device)
Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an
effective team member during multirescuer CPR
Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults/ infants
AHA ACLS course covers-
Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of airway
devices, and use of Defibrillator
Recognition and early management of cardiac arrest & its causes
Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as unstable
bradycardia, tachycardia, ACS (MI)
Management of stroke
Effective communication as a member and leader of resuscitation team
