CORE VALUES

Greetings,
I hope you are doing good. The reason why I chose to speak on this topic is that in the past 21
years of my life I have seen various successes and failures in life, observed and studied them
continuously. I never asked myself why this happened to me, however, I asked myself How this all
happened? And I found some traits based on my studies that are extremely important for a
successful life. And I had one simple idea that came to me, that "The best way to predict the
future is to create it". If you study successful people and do what they do then you will be more
successful, and if you study unsuccessful people and you avoid what they do then you will not be
a failure. And one of the things I found that if you study success you begin to internalize success
principles and if you do what successful men and women have done throughout history then you
will be successful to, in whatever you are doing. Today I will discuss some of the principles or the
qualities with them success is predictable and failure is predictable that I have discovered over
my life, studying thousands of pages on success.
And the first principle that I discovered with regard to these qualities is that they are all habit
patterns of mind and that nobody starts off with them and that you can learn them with practice.
And the second that I found that if you practice these principles until they become habits , until
they become automatic for you then there's nothing that can stop you.
And the first thing is 'Having Clarity' and clarity is the starting point of all success, it means
thinking clearly, that what exactly you want to be, have or do in life. We Humans are the goal
seeking objects we perform at our best when we have goals, when we are focused. In my
estimation 80 to 90% are unhappy, psychosomatic, addicted and feel loneliness because they
have no sense of direction where they are going. You may be the most talented, smartest person
but if you are not focused on what you are doing there are very high chances that you are going
to fail.
And the second key to clarity is being decisive, the reason of not being decisive that we are
afraid to make a mistake and the terrible thing is that the way we think becomes our habit.
Almost 80% of the decisions should be taken when they first come up. You may be the most
intelligent and ambitious person but if you can not make hard decisions in your life and you can
not make your decisions readily then you will always have to be working for others.
Focus on the results, not on the activities. The key question here is what results I am supposed
to produce, what results are expected of me Not the activities. What results am I supposed to
produce. Voila! , you have your answer. And the next thing is 'List your goals'. If you don't have
your goals in writing then they are not really goals at all they are merely wishes. And wishes is
merely a goal without any energy behind it. Review your goals often, I call it 'Evaluation of Self'.
Review your goals before you go to bed and after getting up. And ask yourself what do i do right
to move towards my goals today and what do i do differently to move fast towards them.
Be clear with your vision, speak walk talk act clearly. Always speak with clarity, be straight with
your words, you should be clear with your words that what exactly you mean from your words.
The reason people don't speak clearly that they are afraid of offending others. If you had an
opinion about me I would like to hear it with straightforward or clear words. Be precise with your
words.
The next thing is 'be excellent at your work'. Whatever you do set it to excellence. Set your goal
to be excellent in it. The market pays for the excellence. You will never have a feeling of self-
esteem and self-worth, you'll never feel wonderful about yourself until you know you are good at
what you are doing. And if you do not love your work enough to be best at it then get out of it the
way you get out of a burning house because it is the road to failure, dissatisfaction, frustration
and unhappiness in life. Build the ability to long term focus, called concentration. I have been
studying for the last 17 years, went to school, college and worked. I was never taught about
Concentration. I feel it is the most important skill, but see nobody looks at it neither in school nor
in college. Build a sense of urgency you move fast when you feel urgency, set priorities to your
life. And work on the top priorities of your life. Just ask one question to yourself "What is the
most valuable use of my time now?". Whatever answer you get work on it. Time management is
just not time management, Time management is life management. Everybody has the 24hrs, but
how efficiently you use your 24hrs determines your success or failure.
Build a habit of common sense. You can train your mind to common sense and common sense
comes with taking the time to act. Remember, always listen to your intuition, it is the best guide
you possibly have. Your intuition will give you the most accurate answer for you, it will take all the
experiences, knowledge, and everything going around you and gives you the exact right answer
for you. Women follow their intuitions that's why are smarter and more intelligent while men
override their intuition and get into problems. Learn from your past experiences, from your
setbacks. Remember an "Unexamined" life is not worth living.
Build creativity, and the hallmark of creativity is curiosity, asking questions through your curiosity
and the hallmark of ignorance and stupidity is stopping asking questions. One of coaches
pointed out to me, and I think it is very true that all changes comes in our life from new
information that if we don't have he new information we keep on doing what we were doing
forever. 70 to 80% of the things we are using, experiencing right now gonna change in next some
years. That's how rapidly things change.
You can do anything if you are willing to pay the price. One new idea all you need to start to
fortune. Look for better ways to do things what you are doing now.
The next thing that I find highly important is to learn communication. It is the ability to express
yourself orally, your ability to write effectively and get your points across to others will have a
tremendous impact on your life. How well you get along with other people and your quality of
interaction determines your happiness, your success, your achievements, and your wealth than
anything else. Words are the tools to what we think. If you looked at 1 word a day which would be
365 words a year withing 5 years you will be the most educated self in your history if you learn
10 words that opens a door to 10 more. An average child learns up to 10,000 words in the first 5
years and I don't think so that an average adult learns even 50 words a year. Learn to listen,
unless you learn to listen then how would you make your point effectively.
Be consistent in what you do. Be steady. Be consistent with your work, your relationships and
with your friends. Make sure that you become the person on which everybody can depend upon
that if he says something he'll do it. Remember loyalty is the most valuable thing. Remember
'even though you do a hundred of thousand of things eventually they accumulate and gather a
force of their own. Guard your integrity as a sacred thing. Nothing is more important than
integrity of your own self, never compromise with your mental peace. Your peace of mind is the
highest good that you have.
Confront your fears, and build courage. Do the things you fear and you will notice the death of
fear is certain. Always dare to go forward in your life. Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all.
And you will be unstoppable. Why to stay average when you can be the BEST.
