PROPOSED TITLE
RATIONALE
Understanding the compressive behavior of Basalt Fiber
hybrid steel-basalt fiber reinforced on
concrete.
Previous studies examined the mechanical
properties of 12mm basalt fibers with CaCO₃
whiskers and steel fibers.
Effects of varying basalt fiber lengths of 25,
37, and 50mm and contents of 0.45% and
0.60% on compressive behavior.
Improving its mechanical properties.

Steel Fibers
OBJECTIVES
GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
Determine the compressive behavior to
determine the compressive behavior using
a combination of steel and basalt fibers in
concrete to improve its compressive
strength.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:
Investigate the optimal content of basalt
fibers of different lengths and other
parameters to achieve the desired
strength of hybrid steel-basalt fiber
reinforced concrete (H-BFRC).

CONCLUSION
The optimal content of basalt and
BSC-FAC of 12 mm other parameters to achieve the
basalt fiber length and desired strength of hybrid steel-
0.60% content increase basalt fiber reinforced concrete
in compressive strength (H-BFRC) was 0.45% basalt fiber,
up to 43% compared to 12 mm length, 1% CaCO3 whisker,
plain concrete and 0.35% steel fiber.
The enhanced toughness index (ɳ)
Short basalt fibers of 12 and capability coefficient index (ξ)
indicate the contribution of new
mm with lower content of multi scale fibers hybridization
0.45% yielded better towards a positive synergetic effect.

(25 mm, 37 mm, and 50 (12 mm basalt fiber with 0.60%
content) was observed by 51%, and
