AFFIDAVIT

I, Uno Mamano, Filipino, of legal age, with residence at Salvacion,


Virac, Catanduanes, after being sworn in accordance with law, hereby
declare that:

1. I am a member of the PNP-WCPC-BFU (Bicol Field Unit)


designated as the Forensics Expert;

2. I am familiar with case because I am the Forensics Expert;

3. That on 19 November 2024 by virtue of a Warrant to Search,


Seize, and Examine Computer Data, (attached hereto is a
certified true copy of said warrant marked as “Annex A”) an
entrapment and rescue operation was conducted to apprehend
one Maria Rose Tendanan suspected of Qualified Trafficking in
Persons;

4. The entrapment and rescue team, myself included, went to the


residence of the respondent located in Rawis, Virac,
Catanduanes and knocked on her door and stated “We are
members of the PNP-WCPC-BFU and we have a Warrant of
Search and Seizure, and we are looking for Maria Rose
Tendanan who we know is a residence of this house”;

5. The respondent opened the door to her house and was


thereafter arrested and informed of her rights by members of
the entrapment team. Two children a boy who was confirmed to
be Boboy Tendanan the respondent’s son, as well as a girl who
was also confirmed to be Ten-ten, the niece of the respondent
was at the house during the operation. They were rescued and
taken into custody and later on to be turned over to the DSWD;

6. During the entrapment the team was able to apprehend the


items believed to have been used by the respondent for
committing her crimes: (1) Iphone 6 with Globe Sim, (1) Iphone
12 with Smart Sim, (1) LBC remittance receipt for the amount of
Php 5,000.00 dated October 2024 with the name Mary Rose
Tendanan as the receiver, (1) Laptop, and (2) dildos. (attached
hereto are photos of the items apprehended respectively
marked as “Annexes B, C, D, E, F”);

7. After the search and seizure, the undersigned conducted an


onsite imaging of the two Iphones, however, it was not possible
with the Laptop due to the incompatibility of forensic imaging
tool that was available on-site. Thereafter, it was decided by the
forensics expert that an offsite forensic imaging at the digital
forensic laboratory was needed in order to access the afore-
mentioned laptop;

8. A receipt was issued for the apprehended items (attached


hereto is a certified copy of the receipt marked as “Annex G”).
Custody of the laptop was given to the forensics expert to be
taken to the digital forensic laboratory for forensic imaging.
