Home Alone
Last Saturday night, Benjamin was alone at home. His parents were out for dinner
while his brother was at a friend’s house. He was reading in his bedroom. He heard
something in the garden. He looked out the window of the living room and saw a
man.
The man wore black clothes and Benjamin could not see his face in the dark. The
man carried a bag. He did not see Benjamin watching him. The man walked to a tree
and put his bag under it. Benjamin was scared, so he did not move. He waited until
the man left. Then, he called the police. Soon, a police car stopped outside his house.
A policeman came in and asked to see the bag. Benjamin took him to the garden and
showed him where the man had left it. The policeman opened the bag and Benjamin
was surprised to see that it was full of money! The policeman said that the man had
probably stolen the money from somewhere. He thanked Benjamin for his help.
The next day, the policeman called Benjamin to tell him that he had returned the
money. Benjamin was happy for doing the right thing.

Long ago, Sarah and Max found an old map of a magic forest. They went
inside and met talking animals like rabbits and birds. They helped the
animals to find their lost things. Sarah found glasses that belonged to an owl.
As a present, the owl showed them the way to a treasure, which was a big
room filled with gold cups. They learned that being kind can bring good into
their lives.

Mia and Jake were in a spaceship. It broke, and stopped on a new planet
with purple plants and blue hills. They were worried at first, but then they
met a strange-looking alien. The alien's name was Zuzu. Zuzu was green and
has big eyes. Zuzu was friendly and helped Mia and Jake repair their
spaceship. They became friends and learned that they should help others
who were in need.

Emily got an old house from her grandma. She found a key inside a book.
The key was pretty and felt cool in her hand. The key opened a big room

important for her to learn about her family history.
