CROCHET TOY PATTERN

TIGER

CROCHET PATTERN "TIGER"

MATERIALS NEEDED:

1. Yarn Himalaya Dolfin Baby


- orange 1 skein № 80316 or mustard 1 skein № 80330 (choose
the main tiger’s color as you wish)
- black 1/3 of a skein № 80311
- white 1/3 of a skein № 80301
2. Crochet hook size №4
3. Polyester fiberfill
4. Safety eyes size 12 mm
5. Nose size 20*16 mm
6. Scissors
7. Large eye needle for sewing parts
8. Black thread for whiskers (I use YarnArt Jeans thread divided
in half)
9. Strong cotton thread for tightening (about 50 cm long)

ABBREAVIATIONS:

ch – chain
inc – increase
dec – decrease
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet

Start crocheting with WHITE yarn.

Stuff the leg completely.

Then make 1 ch, fold the part in half and work 6 sc through both edges.
We’ve got 7 stitches in the end (1 ch and 6 sc).

1 ch is needed so that when crocheting the legs into the body they look
more neat.

Start crocheting with WHITE yarn.

length, then make 1 ch, fold the part in half and work 4 sc through
both edges.

We’ve got 5 stitches in total (1 ch and 4 sc), we will use these 5 stitches
when crocheting the tail into the body.

EARS

First part.

Start crocheting with WHITE yarn

1row: 2ch, into the second stitch from the hook 6sc, change to orange
on the last stitch
CHANGE TO ORANGE
2row: 1ch, turn and work 6 inc (12)
Cut and pull the thread.

Second part.

Work the same as the first part only in ORANGE the whole part, DO
NOT CUT THE THREAD in the end.
Fold two part together and work with single crochets through both
parts around: 12 stitches and 5 sc along the base (we will use these 5
stitches when crocheting the ears into the head).

ASSEMBLY AND DECORATION

1. Make muzzle tightening, take a strong cotton thread to do it


(watch video)
2. Sew on the body to the head in about 10-15 rounds
3. Embroider:
- eyebrows (take black Dolphin Baby thread 40 cm long and a
large eye needle)
- whiskers (take black YarnArt Jeans thread and divide it in half)

5. Embroider the stripes on the arms and the legs in the same way
as the whiskers
