note.
We have seen the G Major Scale Progression as under:

 Start slowly picking the notes one by one and slowly increase the speed
 Take time and ensure that you master this progression

So much in G Major… Now how to play other major scale progressions.

For this you must
 Know that the other major scales follow the same pattern (Style No. 1)
 Know the root note in the fret board
We started with E string – 3rd fret for G Major.
Now imagine you are starting from E string – 5th fret and finish the same
pattern. Yes. It becomes A Major Scale Progression as we have started with
E 5 note which “A”

The A Major Scale Progression will then look like:

E|---------------------------4-5----5-4--------------------------------|E

B|-----------------------5-7------------7-5----------------------------|B

G|-----------------4-6-7--------------------7-6-4----------------------|G

The root notes

Similarly, start from E string – 7th fret and finish the same pattern. This
progression is nothing but B Major Scale Progression… and so on…

Exercise:
Start from E string – 1st fret and finish the same pattern. Move to the 2nd
fret and so on… By doing this you are starting from F Major Scale Progression,
followed by F# Major Scale Progression and so on….
Complete this pattern and get the confidence of moving around the fret board
with ease……
