3.00 mm or 3.50 mm Crochet hooks
Yarn: Alize Cotton Gold (100 gr/ 280 mt.)
Primary Color: Camel color
Square color: Brown, baby blue, white, midnight blue
Zipper, sewing thread, steel yarn needle, Tape measure.

Gauge:
Motif: (5 rows) Approx. 3,74 inches (9,5 cm) square

Beg: Beginning

ch(s): Chain(s)

sk – skip: Do not crochet into these stitches.

sl st – slip stitch: Insert hook into stitch, yarn over (yo), pull up a loop, you will have 2
loops on your hook. Pull the first loop through the second loop. 1 slip stitch completed.

Sp: Space

st(s): Stitch(es)

* to * : Repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed.

DC: Double crochet: Yarn over (yo), insert hook into stitch, yo, pull up a loop (3 loops on
hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). Yo, pull through remaining 2 loops. 1
double crochet completed.

TR –Treble crochet: Yarn over (yo) twice, insert hook into stitch, yo, pull up a loop (4
loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (2
loops on hook). Yo, pull through remaining 2 loops. 1 treble crochet completed.

Square Description
Round1: Make a magic circle, Ch3, (This counts as 1 dc), 11dc into the circle pull the
yarn, join with sl st to top of Ch3, cut the yarn. (12dc)

Round2: Change color, attach yarn to any gap, Ch3, (This counts as 1dc), 1dc same
space, 2dc into next space, repeat to end of row. Join with sl st to top of Ch3, cut the
yarn. (24dc)

Round3: Change color, attach yarn to any gap, Ch3, (This counts as 1dc), 2dc same
space, 3dc into next space, repeat to end of row. Join with sl st to top of Ch3, cut the
yarn. (36dc)

Round4: Change color, attach yarn to any gap, Ch3, (This counts as 1tr), 2tr same space
ch2, 3tr (a corner space), 3dc same space x 2 repeat,same space (3tr, ch2 3tr), same
space 3dc x 2 repeat, same space (3tr, ch2, 3tr), same space 3dc x 2 repeat, same space

For you, I knitted all the rows of the pattern and took pictures.
Alternative for MR: CH 5, Join with sl st to first ch to form ring. (Ch5, sl st to 1st ch that
was made to form a ring.)
