1) How many years of experience do you have in US healthcare Medical Billing?
I have 3 years of experience in medical billing in US healthcare.
2) How does claim processing differ between an in-network and out-of-network provider?
In-network claims are processed as negotiated earlier between insurance companies and
providers, and they involve lower cost, and lower reimbursement, as it was already a
negotiable rate, and also patient needs to pay copay and coinsurance as per her/ his plan,
and in-out-of-network claim, in this provider, does not contract with insurance, in this
scenarios first patient need to pay all reimbursement and then we can seek reimbursement
from the insurance company, it costly because no any negotiated rate applies here, the
patient has to pay any code the provider claim, and it also depends on patient's policy if the
patient has HMO and EPO policy than all cost should be covered by insurance.
3) Imagine yourself in an adversarial AR follow-up call situation with a US-based
insurance carrier. How would you overcome adversity?
In this case, I would first make sure to maintain my professional tone and make sure to
remain calm and composed, also I will try to be prepared with all the documents and
accurate information, and all my questions regarding the claim, I will try to talk decently
with the representative, to overcome from that situation, I would try to focus on building
reports perfectly, and also listed their concerns and address them in peace full mind with
respect, and try to provide necessary proof that supports the cause, try to understand the
insurance carrier's perspective, and make sure I get every information from them than I
want to solve the cause,
4) How many AR follow-up calls are you comfortable completing on an average day?
How do you feel when exceeding that number and how - when not reaching it?
I can work on 50 or more calls in AR depending on the situation, how long it takes to solve a
concern, and how fast the representative provides information about the concern, also it
gives me happiness when I exceed a given task, and it will help to increase my confidence
to work harder and be more productive. and even if I am not able to exceed it, it pushes me
to work more powerfully and try to solve it as soon as I can.
5) What skills have you learned in the past 12 months? Include any skills, not just the
professional skills and the way you acquired them.
In the last few months, I have learned to solve the concern provided by the client, and by
solving that problem and making the project smooth, I learned skills like time management
and working under pressure, apart from that I learned to schedule my routines in daily life
with work and learn how to maintain professional and personal things separate and how to
take care of our own self with work.
6) How do you feel when your manager or client criticizes your work?
When they criticize my work, I frame those situations as an opportunity for improvement
and acknowledge their feedback. By listening to them actively, I can make sure myself what
kind of things I should not repeat in the future.
7) Describe the possible causes for unusually low practice collections in the past
month?
In the past few months, when I was working on my current given task in the office,
suddenly, the management gave me two tasks on an urgent basis, at that time, I accepted
the challenges; it was quite stressful initially and hard for me to manage all tasks and their
productivities in 8 hours, So at that time I practice a lot and few days and later I was able to
achieve this task.
8) What is your current compensation and where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Based on my experience and knowledge I'm seeking a role that pays between Rs 600,000 to
Rs 800,000 annually, that's the range I am looking for and it can be negotiable, I want to see
myself eventually in some kind of higher position in your company.

I can join your company in a month, as I must serve a notice period in my current job.
