How to play
Determine which player goes first. On your turn choose 1 of 3 actions:

Action 1 - Choose 1 pod and place the 4 blocks.

-Your planet board has different climate regions that have specific placement rules:
-Polar (Top and bottom of planet), Tropical (Center area of planet), and Temperate (between Polar and Tropical)
-Place blocks following these placement rules:
• Aquatic/Blue can be placed in any region. POLAR

• Forest/Green can be placed in any region. TEMPERATE

• Tundra/White blocks can only be placed in the polar regions.
TROPICAL
• Grassland/Gold Blocks can go in the Tropical or Temperate, but not Polar.
• Desert/Tan Blocks can go in the Tropical or Temperate, but not Polar. TEMPERATE
-Any blocks that cannot be legally placed are returned to the block supply. POLAR

Action 2 (ONCE PER ROUND) - Relocate 3 blocks on your planet board.

-Take up to 3 blocks off of your planet board, then place them in new locations, or return them to the supply.

Action 3 (ONCE PER ROUND) - Discard any number of unscored Bonus Cards from your hand and draw up to the
hand limit of 3 cards. If the draw pile is empty, reshuffle the discard pile to make a new draw pile.

SCORING BONUS CARDS

On your turn, whenever your planet board contains the correct number and placement of blocks to complete
a bonus card, show the result to the other players, then place that card next to your board. This can be done
by placing blocks, moving blocks, or by drawing a new card that happen to match an existing formation of blocks.
NOTE: If the shape has a red outline around it, it needs to match that shape exactly, in any rotation. Otherwise the
blocks can be in any shape as long as it is the same number of blocks and meets any other shape or placement rules.
• Players are competing for the shared bonus cards. Whichever player first completes the card, claims it from
the center of the table and places it next to their player board. No one else can score this card during the game.
• Blocks can be shared between geographic areas. Ex. Grassland blocks can be shared between a Prairie and a Marsh.
• You cannot score 2 identical cards.
• A smaller geographic feature that is already scored, can be built upon to create a larger feature. However, once a
larger feature is scored, it cannot be used to score a smaller feature using the same blocks within the feature.
Ex. - A stream can become a river, or a steppe can become a prairie, but not vice versa if the larger feature has scored.
• When you complete a card from your hand, you may immediately draw a new card if available.

END OF ROUND
• Players continue to take actions until the last selection pod is empty - then the round ends.
• At the end of the round, refill the selection pods randomly from the supply.
• Play continues with the player that was next in turn order.

END OF GAME
• Continue playing rounds until one player fills their board and play ends immediately.
• Tally points to determine the winner!

SCORING
Score 10 points per each of the 5 regions that are completed.
Score points for each bonus card completed.

SOLO GAME
Score as many bonus cards as you can while completing your planet board! Keep track of your highest score!
