Leggy Froggy Crochet Pattern

Pattern Notes: The numbers at the very end in parentheses () are how

many stitches there will be after you reach your stitch marker.

Pro tip: make sure to securely fasten all loose ends, preferably by tying

them together and pushing them into the frog

This pattern is written in US terms and is worked in continuous rounds.

Tools and Materials
Yarn (I like to use Sweet Snuggles Lite/Chenille Home Slim)

Two safety eyes (I use 12mm)

A stitch marker

Crochet hook (I use a 6.5mm hook)

Yarn needle

Scissors

Stuffing

Stitches
Slip stitch (SLST)

Single crochet (SC)

Double Crochet (DC)

Chain (CH)
Pattern
Round 1: Chain 7, then DC 4 in the 3rd loop from your hook, SC 3, DC 5

in last chain, then SC 3 and add your stitch marker

DC 4 in 3rd loop 3 SC then 5 DC Add stitch marker

Rounds 2- 4: SC around (3 rounds) (16)

Now add your eyes and a little stuffing in the eyes as well

Rounds 5-11: SC around (7 rounds) (16)

Now you can stuff your frog and slip stitch it shut.

(You might have to undo some stitches to reach the corner of the frog)

SLST the frog closed

Legs/Arms
Keep your hook where it is, then CH 14.

DC into the 3rd CH from hook, SLST, CH 2, DC, SLST, CH 2, DC, SLST, and then

SLST all the way down the chain, cut the yarn, and secure loose ends.

II DC in 3rd CH SLST CH 3

DC SLST CH 3

I DC SLST SLST down

To make the other leg, insert your hook into the corner of the frog, CH 14 and

repeat the steps to make the legs/arms.

To make the arms, insert your hook in the middle or one stitch down from the

middle of the frog, CH 14 and repeat the steps to make the legs/arms
