Your employment with Five Below is scheduled to begin on May 1, 2023. This position is
classified as full-time and exempt, and you will report directly to the Director of Cybersecurity.
The role will be performed remotely, in alignment with our flexible work policy.
Compensation
• Annual Salary: $130,000 (One Hundred Thirty Thousand U.S. Dollars)
• Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly, in accordance with our standard payroll schedule

Role Overview
As a Senior Security Engineer, your scope of work will include the following responsibilities:
• Leading patch and vulnerability management across 25,000+ endpoints, ensuring
remediation within SLA and reducing critical vulnerabilities by 70%.
• Architecting secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure environments to maintain
99.9% uptime and enable secure delivery of AI-integrated platforms.
• Designing and implementing IAM policies, data encryption protocols, and PostgreSQL
protections to ensure full compliance with industry standards.
• Deploying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and managing API integrations
with OAuth 2.0 and JWT authentication for secure data access.
• Overseeing endpoint and asset protection compliance (98%), and leading incident response
enhancements resulting in a 40% improvement in resolution time.
• Driving Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to meet SOC 2 and HIPAA
requirements with a 95% compliance achievement rate.
• Developing SIEM rule sets and automating threat intelligence feeds, cutting false positives
by 35% and detecting advanced persistent threats (APTs).
