ABSTRACT
The Summer Internship Program is an integral part of my Master of
Business Administration. I am doing my Summer Internship at
Dainik Bhaskar Group.
The Topics for my Project are:
1. To understand and learn about the policy on which the
hiring process can be maintained under Dainik Bhaskar.
2. Learn the employee Onboarding and Orientation.
3. Learn Performance Management System every year.
4. learned HONO HR software/app which is used at Dainik Bhaskar
5. Learning Employee Engagement and Wellness in the company.
This report aims to provide an overview of Dainik Bhaskar,
focusing on its HR functions. Understanding how they manage
their work culture, evaluate employees, maintain a comfortable
workplace, handle documentation, and acquire talent is important
for improving HR practices and keeping employees happy.
The report suggests various ideas, such as creating a positive work
environment, having good leadership, and offering professional
development opportunities. It also talks about using data and basic
technology to predict solutions for remote work. Finally, it

employee retention by using effective tactics to encourage
excellence and loyalty in today's fast-paced workplace

DISCUSSION ON TRAINING
Within the Dainik Bhaskar Group, I currently serve as an intern in the
Human Resources department. My primary responsibility revolves
around overseeing various aspects of HR within the company. Rather
than solely concentrating on Operations, I am involved in a range of
HR-related tasks. These include maintaining up-to-date records,
maintaining employee data, maintaining employee file, familiarizing
myself with the PMS system, fostering employee engagement,
managing data to retain employees, comprehending the functionality
of the HONO application, hiring techniques, scheduling interviews,
searching suitable candidate for the position.
Core Learnings:
The classroom experience provides us with the foundational
knowledge necessary for industry work, but it's through internships
that we truly put theory into practice. Internships offer the opportunity
to apply learned techniques in real-world scenarios, bridging the gap
between theory and practical implementation in the industry

MY WORK
My internship at Dainik Bhaskar began on February 12, 2024. Initially, I
delved into the basics of HR and gained insights into the company's
operations along with fundamental HR principles. Soon after,
I was entrusted with file management tasks.
ensuring completeness and accuracy of documents.
Under the guidance of my mentor, I learned how to maintain
employee data on Excel.
I was thoroughly trained in both online and offline hiring
procedures, including the documentation required for the
process.
Dainik Bhaskar utilizes its proprietary software, HONO, to
manage employee records, attendance, appraisals, and new
hires.
My responsibilities extended to overseeing hiring processes and
maintaining employee data across all units in Jaipur.
Understood the leave policy of Dainik Bhaskar and
communicated with the employees to kindly take action on it.
encompassing various activities aimed at employee engagement
and motivation. Notably, I initiated "SIZZLING Saturday"
sessions every weekend to boost employee morale.

CONCLUSION:
This report concludes by highlighting the important lessons learned
from the HR internship. Throughout the internship, I developed a
thorough awareness of a range of HR-related topics, such as policy
formulation, benefits administration, administrative assistance,
hiring, onboarding, employee relations, HRIS management, training,
compliance, and project management.
Engaging in both regular and one-off initiatives helped me improve
my communication skills, gain real-world experience, and gain a
greater understanding of the intricate workings of HR. In addition,
my internship at Dainik Bhaskar fostered both professional and
personal growth by giving me important exposure to real-world HR
opportunities and difficulties
During my internship, I learned how crucial it is to follow labor rules and
regulations, treat employees fairly, and reduce the organization's legal
risks.
