Spain
1. Passport: Passport with a validity of at least 6 months beyond the date of intended stay
(original valid passport & original expired passports). Clear photocopy of biodata pages and all
Schengen/UK/USA/CANADA/AUSTRALIA visa pages, as well as Refusal seal pages of the
passport/s, both present and previous. If the immediate previous passport is lost then a G.D
(English) copy of that passport is required.
2. Application Form: One Schengen (1) application form (filled in using capital letters with a blue
or black ballpoint pen by the applicant) (The first visa form should be filled in original and a
photocopy can be made of the other one). The mail address and telephone number where the
applicant can be contacted must be clearly stated in the application form.
3. Photo: Two passport-size color photographs (35 mm x 45 mm), full face, no glasses, no head-
dress and plain white background should be pasted on the right side of each form.
4. Cover letter: Cover letter from the applicant, explaining in detail the purpose of the visit which
must be translated in Spanish language or written directly in Spanish language, addressed to
the Embassy of Spain.
5. Air ticket booking: A copy of flight bookings for the entire sector of travel.
6. Hotel Booking: Hotel confirmation from Spain. If the purpose of travel is to visit friends or
relatives, and if the host is a Spanish or European citizen, an original letter of invitation made
before the Spanish Police and an attested copy of the passport or the National Identity Card is
required. If the host is not a European Citizen, then a photocopy of the residence permit must
be attached along with the letter of invitation made before the Spanish Police.
7. Travel Insurance: Proof of travel insurance (original & photocopy), for a minimum of 30,000
Euros, to cover any expenses that might arise in connection with repatriation for medical
reasons, urgent medical attention, and/or emergency hospital treatment. The insurance must
be valid throughout the territory of the Member States and cover the entire duration of the
travel i.e. Bangladesh to Bangladesh.
8. All the documents that the Applicant may consider appropriate to show his / her personal
economic situation and attested copies of any other documents that the applicant may decide
to provide and all the documents should be translated in the Spanish language (e.g. FDR,
Sanchoy Patro from Govt. financial institution, Ownership document of Land/Home etc.). These
documents are necessary even if another person, company or institution bears the expenses of
the trip
9. Bank Statement: Original Bank Statement (Personal) for the last 6 months which should be
updated. The statements should be signed by the bank/branch manager and should be bear
seal / stamp of the bank / branch manager. Bank statement may not be older than 3 days.
10. I) Income Tax Returns (translated into Spanish) for the last one year.
II) Tin certificate (translated into Spanish).
11.Salary slips for the last 6 months and leave letter from the Applicants Employer (translated
into Spanish).
12.Certificate of incorporation of the company or organization in Bangladesh and or Memorandum
and articles of association and or Trade license Spanish translate copy (if applicable).
13.Applicants who are applying with their families have to submit proof of relation with the principal
applicant. For example, if he/she is spouse then a Marriage certificate and in the case of child,
the Birth certificate is required.
14.All public documents (e.g. Nikah Nama, Marriage certificate, Birth certificate, and Trade license)
issued by the concerned office in English and must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
(MOFA) and afterward translated into the Spanish language.
15.In case a minor (under 18 years) is not accompanied by both parents, a no-objection letter
from the parent not traveling must be submitted in the Spanish language. Please note that
no objection letter has to be signed by the Spanish Embassy in front of a visa officer.
16.For minors (under 18 years), the application form must be signed by both parents. Photocopies
of passports / ID cards of both parents must be attached to the application.

Please Note: There is a service charge of BDT 2004 (Inclusive of VAT) levied per application over
and above the visa fees.
The visa fee can be paid in the form of a demand draft issued from Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC only
favoring “Embassy of Spain, Dhaka”.
Visa processing time (after submission): 21 Calendar days (which may be delayed depending on case to
case).
They accept the first 10 files each day of the submission (Sunday-Wednesday, 9am to 1pm)

1. We use tentative booking for hotels and air tickets, it is acceptable by the embassies all the time but for
your satisfaction we can book a confirmed hotel with additional charges.
2. Visa acceptance/rejection depends on the embassy, Chologhuri is not liable, we can only consult and
prepare the file so that your visa gets accepted
3. After preparing the file, we will send you for checking and verification. Please check all necessary details.
4. It is important to mention that, the applicant has to hire someone to manage the serial for BLS file
