Sub: Request for Approval to Conduct Guest Lecture– Reg.
We had initially planned to conduct a Guest Lecture on “Machine Learning Techniques” on
19th September 2025. However, since our second-year students will be attending an industrial visit on that
day, we kindly request permission to conduct the guest lecture earlier, on 16th September 2025.
The resource person for this session will be Dr. T. Ruso, Project Manager, Cognizant Technology
Solutions, Chennai. The objective of this guest lecture is to provide students with valuable insights and
practical knowledge on Machine Learning Techniques, thereby enhancing their academic learning and
industry exposure.
We kindly request your approval to conduct this guest lecture, and the details of the resource person profile
are attached herewith for your kind perusal and approval. We have furnished the details of anticipated

Dr. T. RUSO
He has completed his B.Sc. (Computer Science) in Aditanar College of
Arts and Science (Tiruchendur), M.Sc. (Computer Science) in Annamalai
University (Chithambaram), M.E (Computer Science and Engineering) in
Crescent Engineering College (Chennai) and finally he was awarded Ph.D.
(Computer Science and Engineering) from CEG - Anna University (Chennai). In
total he has 14 years of experience in Research, Teaching and Industry sectors.
➢ From January 2008 to February 2011 he has worked as PROJECT
ASSOCIATE in IIT MADRAS.
➢ From May 2015 to June 2019 He has worked as ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR (Senior Grade) in SAVEETHA UNIVERSITY
(Chennai).
➢ From July 2019 to January 2022 he has worked as ASSOCIATE
CONSULTANT in WIPRO PVT. LTD. (Chennai).
➢ From February 2022 to July 2022 he was working in IBM India
PVT.LTD. Chennai as an Advisory System Analyst.
➢ From August 2022 to January 2023, he was working in HCL
Technologies, Chennai as a Senior Project Lead.
➢ Currently he is working in Cognizant Technology Solutions,
Chennai as a Project Manager.
His Contributions and Accolade:
➢ When he was working in IIT Madras, he has developed the Multiparty
video conference tool using JAVA for “Smart and Secure Environment”
Research Consortium, funded by the National Technical Research
Organization (NTRO), Government of India, New Delhi. It is used to
connect all the Professors, Research Scholars and Students among the eight
institutions across Tamilnadu. i.e., IIT Madras, NIT Tiruchirappalli, CEG
- Anna University, Pondicherry University, PSG College of Technology
(Coimbatore), Thiyagaraja College of Engineering - Madurai, Madurai
Kamaraj University and Alagappa University (Karaikudi) through MPLS-
VPN network.
➢ He developed a prototype design for the National Knowledge Network
(NKN) project, using JAVA Applet. It is used to connect all the knowledge
institutions across India.
➢ During the year 2013 (August 24 & 25), he has visited Singapore for
presenting a paper titled “POSET: Network Coding Multicast in
Application Layer” in the second International Conference on
Advancements in Information Technology (ICAIT 2013).
➢ He has published four International Journal papers and two International
Conference papers. His area of research includes Artificial General
Intelligence, IOT, Cloud Computing, 5G Networks, Network Protocols,
Networks and Distributed Systems and Multimedia Networks. He has
sound technical knowledge in Generative AI, Block Chain, Web Security,
Authentication, Authorization, ANGULAR, React JS, SPRING BOOT,
JAVA, Node JS, AWS/Google/Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Open
Shift cloud platform, MySQL, MongoDB, GIT version control and
MAVEN.
