Physical Barrier

This document discusses physical barriers to communication. It defines physical barriers as obstacles that can prevent a message from reaching the intended receiver and are outside the control of those communicating. The document outlines different types of physical barriers like distortion, noise, time and distance, environmental factors, and defects in the communication medium. It then provides examples of how to overcome physical barriers, such as using email, open-concept offices, and video conferencing, which allow for faster, face-to-face communication across distances.
