GRADING SYSTEM
The College of Criminology shall use the
zero-based grading system:
Zero-based grading system - means
that the “raw score is divided by the
perfect score and multiplied by one
hundred to arrive at the percentage
equivalent.
Formula for Zero-Based:
Raw Score x (100)
Perfect Score
Example: 85 x 100

Bachelor of Science in Criminology is a board
program which adopts a passing cut-off grade of
60% for the major courses in 2nd year to 4th
year levels and 50% for the major and minor
courses in 1st year level.
The composition of Class Standing
(CS) varies from one subject to
another such as quizzes, graded
recitation, long test, assignments,
feasibility and project studies, term
papers and other activities and
materials required for a particular
