By: Marivette Joy M. Benedicto, TII-Guidance Designate EAPP

Writing A Manifesto
• A manifesto is a published document
which is usually created by a group who
shares common opinion about an issue.
It can be in a form of critiques, views,
ideologies and perspectives about
societal concerns or an action plan for
change.
• The common topics in manifestos are
issues about art, literature, and politics.
Thus, writing a manifesto requires MANIFESTO
thorough understanding of ideas to give
a convincing statement of a position on
an issue. • a document publicly declaring the
position or program of its issuer.

Manifesto
Manifestos come in a few different iterations. You can
use a political manifesto as a public declaration of
intentions to change the world at large, whereas a
personal manifesto might boldly state who you are and
who you hope to become. In any case, these documents
serve as valuable assessment tools—people can look
back on them to see how well their practical attempts to
change things for the better align with their initial goals.
