Marriage - socially
approved sexual and
economic union, usually
between a man and a
woman.
Types of
Marriage
1.Monogamy: a man is married to only one
wife at a time.
This means that a man cannot marry another wife
while he is still married. He can only married
another wife after he has divorced or his wife is
dead.

one wife at a time.

Pulaya, Muthuvan, and among the Kota as well as the Mannan in Kerala.

man or a woman to marry outside their
playing or tribal group.
In exogamy society or groups marriage, between
members of a group is prohibited. Also called out-
marriage.

What is the definition of
miscegenation?
The definition of miscegenation is
the blending of two races.
The term was coined during the
Civil War and was used against
Lincoln to say that he supported
interracial marriage.
Anti-miscegenation laws were the laws that prohibited
relationships and marriages between people of
different races.
