OIL / GAS
Oil Manifold description: Manifold
•The oil produced by the separator can be
directed through an oil manifold to the tank,
production flowline or burner.
•From the tank, the flow is piped to the oil
manifold by way of a transfer pump.
•It can direct flow to either the port or
starboard burner without stopping the well
test because of undesirable wind directions.

OIL / GAS
Oil Manifold description: Manifold
•The manifold has five 2-in (or 3-in or 4-in) ball or
plug valves.
•Usually connections are 3”602 (or 4”602) weco-
union.
•WP=1440psi (weakest parts are the flange ASA
600).

OIL / GAS
Gas Manifold description: Manifold
•The gas manifold directs the gas produced from
the separator to the port or starboard flare port, a
function of wind direction.
•The manifold usually has two 3-in (or 4-in) ball or
plug valves.
•Usually connections are 3”602 (or 4”602) weco-
union.
•WP=1440psi (weakest parts are the flange ASA
600).

Oil & Gas Manifolds Safety: Manifold
•All valves should be labeled to indicate flow paths
to avoid diverting the flow in the wrong direction.
•When diverting flow, always open one valve
before closing another.
•Use the correct handles provided with the
manifolds to open and close the valves (do not use
cheaters).
