- 5. 009JLX VALVE / Issue One - 2016 Assembly Extensions Modifications Drives Repair and advice We perform different types of special assemblies, all with the design of general drawings and operational diagrams. Our technicians can move to your facilities to develop an automation study according to your needs, by offering you an integral consultancy service. It is often required that the valve is suitable for different uses for which this was not originally intended. For this reason, we offer an special design service for high or low temperatures, adapting these to heat sinks and extensions. At JLX VALVE workshops, we modify pipe connections depen- ding on the requirement and in a short time. If required, we can modify globe valves with flow regulating cones, spring loaded cones; vacuum packing; by-pass; drain connection; levers, counterweights and dampers. We can adapt a wide range of actuators to valves: these can be handwheels, encoded handwheels, remote handwhee- ls, gearboxes, chains, hydraulic actuators, dead man levers, quick-release levers. We have workshops with necessary equipment and mobile units to do preventive maintenance, providing our customers the service they needs, according to specifications. In situ valve repair and maintenance offer an extended functionality after years of being used. An appropriate valve re- pair requires many aspects to consider, such as cleaning and painting. 3.1. More services Paintings and coatings It is increasingly necessary in the industry to eliminate maintenance costs arising from using fluids or conditions incompatible with the metals normally used in the standard manufacture. We have speciali- zed in making paint finishes and special coatings following the requi- rements that our customers can specify. We also can apply special materials refill and all type of alloys.
