• #2: Good morning everyone and welcome to my presentation. Let me introduce myself. I’m Jamli rim and First of all, let me thank you all for coming here today. As you can see on the screen, our topic today is about THE GAFAM
• #3: In my presentation, I’ll focus on four major issues. Initially, we will explore who are the GAFAM!. Then I’ll move on to speak about the GAFAM’s finance and their ecosystem! Last but not least we will discover some secrets of GAFAM and we mention some statistics. Ok, that’s great!
• #4: In this part, we will talk about who are the GAFAM? And Who are their founders?
• #5: Smartphones, search engines, and social media: The internet has become one of the most vital tools for communication, information, and entertainment in today's globalized world. While technological advances continue to accelerate the digitization of modern life, only a handful of players dominate the digital universe *********************************************************************************************************************** Big Tech,also known as the Tech Giants, Big Four, Four Horsemen, Big Five,  or S&P 5,are the largest and most dominant companies in the information technology industry of the United States, namely Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook and Microsoft. Since the end of the 2010s, these five have been, besides Saudi Aramco, the most valuable public companies globally, with each having had a maximum market capitalization ranging from around $500 billion to around $2 trillion USD at various times.
• #6: I’ll start from the left side :Larry Page and Sergey Brin fouders of google in 1998 Then apple founders are Steve Jobs Steve Wozniak Ronald Wayne apple was Founded April 1, 1976; 44 years ago The next persons are the most famous ones Mark Zuckerberg :facebook and Bill Gates :Microsoft Finaly Jeff Bezos (Founder and CEO of Amazon) who hold the no.1 spot on the list of richest people in the world 2019. This leads directly to my next point GAFAM and economy!
• #7: The second part I’ll focus on the ecosystem of the giants of the world
• #8: Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft are some of the most influential global tech corporations. While they all have different market strengths, they also compete for market share across hardware, PC and mobile operating systems, entertainment, and more. As of 2020, e-commerce giant Amazon is the leading U.S.-based internet company by market capitalization and the most valuable brand worldwide. Considered a global benchmark for high-end hardware, entertainment, and media devices, Apple is also rapidly expanding its digital dominance beyond the limits of Silicon Valley: In 2019, Apple's revenue surpassed 260 billion U.S. dollars, whereas Microsoft, Apple's primary competitor in the OS market, also reported its most successful year in company history in 2020. Google and Facebook remain global flagship names for internet search and social networks, thanks to ever-growing user counts and revenue via advertising. As two of the most-visited web properties worldwide, these platforms continue to extend their financial success and their impact on the internet's infrastructure.
• #9: Now I’ll talk about some secrets and some sides of GAFAM world
• #10: The growth of the tech industry's powerhouses and their unmatched market dominance has far-reaching consequences for online users, competitors, and the internet's entire architecture. By acquiring successful companies and newcomers (Facebook bought Instagram and WhatsApp) and promoting their own products and services (on Google's search results), the tech giants' oligopoly eliminates competition and reduces digital diversity. This concentrated power has frequently prompted calls for antitrust action. Since Microsoft's early antitrust battle in the 1990s, a series of lawsuits were filed to regulate Big Tech's grip on the internet and democratize the digital infrastructure. From 2017 to 2019 alone, the EU Commission has fined Google over eight billion euros for anticompetitive behavior. Considering that GAFAM companies are among the top lobbying spenders in the United States, the latest antitrust investigations against Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple ahead of the U.S. presidential election might even become the most impactful inquiries yet.
• #11: The final part is about some real statics of GAFAM’s succes
• #12: As of June 2020, Amazon's market capitalization was 1.64 trillion U.S. dollars, making the company the most valuable U.S.-based internet company by market capitalization. Second-ranked Alphabet had a market cap of 977.75 billion U.S. dollars.Internet companies generate their revenue through various means. Google, for instance, makes use of its advertisement services such as Google AdWords – which takes advantage of Google searches and appear as small advertisements next to search results – and Google AdSense which generates advertisements based on a user’s search history and location, among others. 
• #13: The statistic depicts the market value of the largest internet companies worldwide as of June 2019. That year, e-commerce company Amazon's market value was 888 billion U.S. dollars. Alphabet, the parent company of search market leader Google, had a market value of 741 billion U.S. dollars.
• #14: The statistic shows a comparison of Apple Inc.'s, Google Inc.'s, Alphabet Inc.'s, and Microsoft Corp.'s revenues during the fiscal years from 2008 to 2019. In the fiscal year 2019, hardware-focused Apple's 260.17 billion US dollar revenue was almost double the amount of Microsoft's 125.84 billion U.S. dollars, with Alphabet generating 161.86 billion US dollars that same year. Whereas all of these companies have different market strengths, there are also overlaps and thus, competition. Apple and Google are direct competitors in the mobile phone market with their iOS and Android systems.
