I am a hard working, passionate software engineer. I work in Java and dig Groovy. My latest projects include greenfielding monolith business processes running on every instance of client servers and rebuilding them from the ground up as background services. Pulling apart deeply tangled logic and turning it into manageable pieces may seem mundane and scary to some engineers but taking on the beasts in the code excites me! I am fully embracing dependency injection via Guice and loving it, packaging up microservices up in containers via Docker and speeding things up using caching (Redis for now).
