Having completed his schooling in native village school he has done his Masters in several subjects like Public Administration, Rural Development, Business Administration & Journalism from different universities. Also he has undertaken several national & international courses to widen his academic pursuit. Now continuing PhD in Dept of Sociology, Utkal University, Odisha (India). He has received a number of prestigious awards like National Youth Award, Indira Gandhi NSS Award, International Community Participation Award etc. He is US Legislative Fellow.
