The Open Clouds for Research Environments (OCRE) project aims to stimulate the usage uptake of commercial digital services by the European research community. OCRE will enable and facilitate research institutions to use commercial digital services in a safe and easy manner. The final objective is to give the European research community easier access to commercially available digital services, offering an attractive service portfolio, which meets the needs of the community; and facilitate the adoption of these services by institutions and users and enable substantial consumption of these services.
