  • #3: *GTIntro:What questions are we going to answer in the session?Teaser: sneak preview into what Sage have in prototype / are actively developing
  • #4: *GTIn this session I am going to assume that you, in practice, are doing one or more of the following:Online Practice Solutions (i.e. Bookkeeping, Payroll, Document Management…)EmailPractice websiteUse mobile apps to aid in your work: i.e. online calendar linked to your mobileSocial MediaOnline bankingOnline submissions
  • #5: *GTQuick mention on wearable technology trend: B2C, for specific purposes, not yet data presentation friendly – not for practice… yet!! Even suggestion that charges should be leverage against the size of screen for video streaming – the smaller the cheaper!Dreamworks CEO Wants To Charge By Screen SizeJeffrey Katzenberg, the head of Dreamworks Animation, says within ten years the industry will be charging by screen size. "I think the model will change and you won’t pay for the window of availability. A movie will come out and you will have 17 days, that’s exactly three weekends, which is 95% of the revenue for 98% of movies. On the 18th day, these movies will be available everywhere ubiquitously and you will pay for the size. A movie screen will be $15. A 75" TV will be $4.00. A smartphone will be $1.99. That enterprise that will exist throughout the world, when that happens, and it will happen, it will reinvent the enterprise of movies," he told the crowd.
  • #6: *GTDiscuss that, as consumers, tablets and smartphone sales are in growth, whereas desktop and laptop PC’s are in gentle decline.
  • #7: *GTHowever, in business use, hardware in general is in growth, and tablets are growing faster to be used in conjunction with desktop / laptops for business mobility.
